Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka is to decide whether to let Bernardo Espinosa leave this summer, with Leicester City at the front of the queue to land the Middlesbrough centre-back.
During a press conference this morning, the tight-lipped Middlesbrough boss told reporters that the club had yet to make a decision.
'As it stands, the only thing that I can say is that no decision has been made in relation to Espinosa's future at the club.'
Aitor Karanka went on to praise the Middlesbrough centre-back, saying that 'he is a tremendous asset to the club' and that he would 'love it if he decided to stay'.
According to sources that are close to the player, Espinosa is keen on making the move to the King Power Stadium because of family-related reasons.
The bid for Espinosa is expected to be in the region of €8 million.
