Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka is to decide whether to let Antonio Barragan leave this summer, with West Brom at the front of the queue to land the Middlesbrough player.
During a press conference this morning, the tight-lipped Middlesbrough boss told reporters that the club had yet to make a decision.
'As it stands, the only thing that I can say is that no decision has been made in relation to Barragan's future at the club.'
Aitor Karanka went on to praise the Middlesbrough player, saying that 'he is a tremendous asset to the club' and that he would 'love it if he decided to stay'.
According to sources that are close to the player, Barragan is keen on making the move to The Hawthorns because of family-related reasons.
The bid for Barragan is expected to be in the region of €4 million.
