FC Porto manager Rui Barros is to decide whether to let Yacine Brahimi leave this summer, with Southampton at the front of the queue to land the Algerian winger.
During a press conference this morning, the tight-lipped FC Porto boss told reporters that the club had yet to make a decision.
'As it stands, the only thing that I can say is that no decision has been made in relation to Brahimi's future at the club.'
Rui Barros went on to praise the Algerian winger, saying that 'he is a tremendous asset to the club' and that he would 'love it if he decided to stay'.
According to sources that are close to the player, Brahimi is keen on making the move to St Mary's Stadium because of family-related reasons.
The bid for Brahimi is expected to be in the region of €23 million.
