Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has admitted his interest in Inter Milan star Mauro Icardi.
During a press conference this morning, Aitor Karanka told members of the press that he was interested in buying the Argentine forward.
'He is a wonderful player and we would love to have him here at the Riverside Stadium', stated the Middlesbrough manager.
'However, at the moment, no deal has been finalised between ourselves and Inter Milan.'
A deal for the Inter Milan star is expected to be in the region of €31 million, with talks expected to run over the course of the next few weeks.
