Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has admitted his interest in Manchester United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
During a press conference this morning, Diego Simeone told members of the press that he was interested in buying the former Dortmund player.
'He is a wonderful player and we would love to have him here at the Vicente Calderon Stadium', stated the Atletico Madrid manager.
'However, at the moment, no deal has been finalised between ourselves and Manchester United.'
A deal for the Manchester United star is expected to be in the region of €29 million, with talks expected to run over the course of the next few weeks.
