Manchester United have slapped a €43 million price tag on VfL Wolfsburg target Anthony Martial.
It is believed that the Manchester United striker is intent on joining Dieter Hecking at the Volkswagen Arena.
According to several sources, VfL Wolfsburg are extremely interested in acquiring the Manchester United striker.
'He's a great asset to have', remarked one insider. 'Personally, I think that Manchester United are mad to let him go.'
As rumours continued to spread that Martial would be joining VfL Wolfsburg, former Liverpool player and football television pundit Jamie Carragher voiced his concerns about the move.
'I'm not sure that Manchester United know what they are doing here. Martial is a terrific player and a price such as €43 million will not make up for losing him.'
Former Manchester United legend Gary Neville was in agreement with Carragher: 'Martial adds so much to Manchester United that it would be ludicrous for them to sell him now.'
