Bayern Munich have slapped a €39 million price tag on PSG target Mats Hummels.
It is believed that the former Dortmund defender is intent on joining Unai Emery at Parc des Princes.
According to several sources, PSG are extremely interested in acquiring the former Dortmund defender.
'He's a great asset to have', remarked one insider. 'Personally, I think that Bayern Munich are mad to let him go.'
As rumours continued to spread that Hummels would be joining PSG, former Liverpool player and football television pundit Jamie Carragher voiced his concerns about the move.
'I'm not sure that Bayern Munich know what they are doing here. Hummels is a terrific player and a price such as €39 million will not make up for losing him.'
Former Manchester United legend Gary Neville was in agreement with Carragher: 'Hummels adds so much to Bayern Munich that it would be ludicrous for them to sell him now.'
YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS! Gary Neville: 'Pique to Atletico Madrid makes sense.'
