Tottenham have slapped a €43 million price tag on Bayern Munich target Harry Kane.
It is believed that the Spurs striker is intent on joining Carlo Ancelotti at the Allianz Arena.
According to several sources, Bayern Munich are extremely interested in acquiring the Spurs striker.
'He's a great asset to have', remarked one insider. 'Personally, I think that Tottenham are mad to let him go.'
As rumours continued to spread that Kane would be joining Bayern Munich, former Liverpool player and football television pundit Jamie Carragher voiced his concerns about the move.
'I'm not sure that Tottenham know what they are doing here. Kane is a terrific player and a price such as €43 million will not make up for losing him.'
Former Manchester United legend Gary Neville was in agreement with Carragher: 'Kane adds so much to Tottenham that it would be ludicrous for them to sell him now.'
