Manchester United have slapped a €44 million price tag on Tottenham target Anthony Martial.
It is believed that the Manchester United striker is intent on joining Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane.
According to several sources, Tottenham are extremely interested in acquiring the Manchester United striker.
'He's a great asset to have', remarked one insider. 'Personally, I think that Manchester United are mad to let him go.'
As rumours continued to spread that Martial would be joining Tottenham, former Liverpool player and football television pundit Jamie Carragher voiced his concerns about the move.
'I'm not sure that Manchester United know what they are doing here. Martial is a terrific player and a price such as €44 million will not make up for losing him.'
Former Manchester United legend Gary Neville was in agreement with Carragher: 'Martial adds so much to Manchester United that it would be ludicrous for them to sell him now.'
