PSG have slapped a €44 million price tag on Liverpool target Angel Di Maria.
It is believed that the Argentine midfielder is intent on joining Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
According to several sources, Liverpool are extremely interested in acquiring the Argentine midfielder.
'He's a great asset to have', remarked one insider. 'Personally, I think that PSG are mad to let him go.'
As rumours continued to spread that Di Maria would be joining Liverpool, former Liverpool player and football television pundit Jamie Carragher voiced his concerns about the move.
'I'm not sure that PSG know what they are doing here. Di Maria is a terrific player and a price such as €44 million will not make up for losing him.'
Former Manchester United legend Gary Neville was in agreement with Carragher: 'Di Maria adds so much to PSG that it would be ludicrous for them to sell him now.'
