Manchester City have slapped a €33 million price tag on Liverpool target Stevan Jovetic.
It is believed that the Montenegrin striker is intent on joining Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
According to several sources, Liverpool are extremely interested in acquiring the Montenegrin striker.
'He's a great asset to have', remarked one insider. 'Personally, I think that Manchester City are mad to let him go.'
As rumours continued to spread that Jovetic would be joining Liverpool, former Liverpool player and football television pundit Jamie Carragher voiced his concerns about the move.
'I'm not sure that Manchester City know what they are doing here. Jovetic is a terrific player and a price such as €33 million will not make up for losing him.'
Former Manchester United legend Gary Neville was in agreement with Carragher: 'Jovetic adds so much to Manchester City that it would be ludicrous for them to sell him now.'
