Bayern Munich have slapped a €35 million price tag on Arsenal target Franck Ribery.
It is believed that the Bayern winger is intent on joining Arsene Wenger at the Emirates.
According to several sources, Arsenal are extremely interested in acquiring the Bayern winger.
'He's a great asset to have', remarked one insider. 'Personally, I think that Bayern Munich are mad to let him go.'
As rumours continued to spread that Ribery would be joining Arsenal, former Liverpool player and football television pundit Jamie Carragher voiced his concerns about the move.
'I'm not sure that Bayern Munich know what they are doing here. Ribery is a terrific player and a price such as €35 million will not make up for losing him.'
Former Manchester United legend Gary Neville was in agreement with Carragher: 'Ribery adds so much to Bayern Munich that it would be ludicrous for them to sell him now.'
