Tottenham have slapped a €28 million price tag on Arsenal target Kyle Walker.
It is believed that the English defender is intent on joining Arsene Wenger at the Emirates.
According to several sources, Arsenal are extremely interested in acquiring the English defender.
'He's a great asset to have', remarked one insider. 'Personally, I think that Tottenham are mad to let him go.'
As rumours continued to spread that Walker would be joining Arsenal, former Liverpool player and football television pundit Jamie Carragher voiced his concerns about the move.
'I'm not sure that Tottenham know what they are doing here. Walker is a terrific player and a price such as €28 million will not make up for losing him.'
Former Manchester United legend Gary Neville was in agreement with Carragher: 'Walker adds so much to Tottenham that it would be ludicrous for them to sell him now.'
