Everton have slapped a €31 million price tag on Swansea target Seamus Coleman.
It is believed that the Everton right-back is intent on joining Alan Curtis at the Liberty Stadium.
According to several sources, Swansea are extremely interested in acquiring the Everton right-back.
'He's a great asset to have', remarked one insider. 'Personally, I think that Everton are mad to let him go.'
As rumours continued to spread that Coleman would be joining Swansea, former Liverpool player and football television pundit Jamie Carragher voiced his concerns about the move.
'I'm not sure that Everton know what they are doing here. Coleman is a terrific player and a price such as €31 million will not make up for losing him.'
Former Manchester United legend Gary Neville was in agreement with Carragher: 'Coleman adds so much to Everton that it would be ludicrous for them to sell him now.'
