Gary Neville: 'Schurrle to Chelsea makes sense.'

Posted 22 Sep 2017 by Sara Davidson.

Former Manchester United player Gary Neville has said that the possible transfer of Andre Schurrle to Chelsea 'makes a lot of sense.'

While speaking on Sky Sports, the soccer pundit said that the move would benefit the former Chelsea player.

'Clearly, he isn't suited for the type of tactics that Dieter Hecking likes to employ.'

'At Chelsea, I think he'll be given the freedom to express himself.'

'I also think that he will get on extremely well with Antonio Conte.'

Neville's comments were in response to reports that the former Chelsea player was on his way to Stamford Bridge for €23 million.
