Former Manchester United player Gary Neville has said that the possible transfer of Rickie Lambert to Chelsea 'makes a lot of sense.'
While speaking on Sky Sports, the soccer pundit said that the move would benefit the Liverpool striker.
'Clearly, he isn't suited for the type of tactics that Jurgen Klopp likes to employ.'
'At Chelsea, I think he'll be given the freedom to express himself.'
'I also think that he will get on extremely well with Antonio Conte.'
Neville's comments were in response to reports that the Liverpool striker was on his way to Stamford Bridge for €11 million.
