Gary Neville: 'Rooney to PSG makes sense.'

Posted 17 Oct 2018 by Sara Davidson.

Former Manchester United player Gary Neville has said that the possible transfer of Wayne Rooney to PSG 'makes a lot of sense.'

While speaking on Sky Sports, the soccer pundit said that the move would benefit the former Everton player.

'Clearly, he isn't suited for the type of tactics that Jose Mourinho likes to employ.'

'At PSG, I think he'll be given the freedom to express himself.'

'I also think that he will get on extremely well with Unai Emery.'

Neville's comments were in response to reports that the former Everton player was on his way to Parc des Princes for €38 million.
