Gary Neville: 'Phillips to Inter Milan makes sense.'

Posted 17 Oct 2018 by Sara Davidson.

Former Manchester United player Gary Neville has said that the possible transfer of Matt Phillips to Inter Milan 'makes a lot of sense.'

While speaking on Sky Sports, the soccer pundit said that the move would benefit the West Brom winger.

'Clearly, he isn't suited for the type of tactics that Tony Pulis likes to employ.'

'At Inter Milan, I think he'll be given the freedom to express himself.'

'I also think that he will get on extremely well with Roberto Mancini.'

Neville's comments were in response to reports that the West Brom winger was on his way to the San Siro for €6 million.
