Former Manchester United player Gary Neville has said that the possible transfer of Lionel Messi to Manchester City 'makes a lot of sense.'
While speaking on Sky Sports, the soccer pundit said that the move would benefit the FIFA Ballon d'Or winner.
'Clearly, he isn't suited for the type of tactics that Luis Enrique likes to employ.'
'At Manchester City, I think he'll be given the freedom to express himself.'
'I also think that he will get on extremely well with Pep Guardiola.'
Neville's comments were in response to reports that the FIFA Ballon d'Or winner was on his way to the City of Manchester Stadium for €129 million.
