Former Manchester United player Gary Neville has said that the possible transfer of Angelo Ogbonna to Middlesbrough 'makes a lot of sense.'
While speaking on Sky Sports, the soccer pundit said that the move would benefit the Italian centre-back.
'Clearly, he isn't suited for the type of tactics that Slaven Bilic likes to employ.'
'At Middlesbrough, I think he'll be given the freedom to express himself.'
'I also think that he will get on extremely well with Aitor Karanka.'
Neville's comments were in response to reports that the Italian centre-back was on his way to the Riverside Stadium for €18 million.
