Gary Neville: 'Alaba to Dortmund makes sense.'

Posted 24 Apr 2018 by Sara Davidson.

Former Manchester United player Gary Neville has said that the possible transfer of David Alaba to Dortmund 'makes a lot of sense.'

While speaking on Sky Sports, the soccer pundit said that the move would benefit the Bayern left-back.

'Clearly, he isn't suited for the type of tactics that Carlo Ancelotti likes to employ.'

'At Dortmund, I think he'll be given the freedom to express himself.'

'I also think that he will get on extremely well with Thomas Tuchel.'

Neville's comments were in response to reports that the Bayern left-back was on his way to the Westfalenstadion for €33 million.
