Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka and Bernardo Espinosa had to be physically separated yesterday after the pair traded blows in a shocking training ground bust-up.
A physical altercation between Aitor Karanka and the Colombian centre-back resulted in Middlesbrough players stepping in to separate the two.
According to one source at the Riverside Stadium, the tempers erupted when Espinosa questioned Aitor Karanka's managerial ability.
'There are rumours floating around the club that Espinosa is on his way to Crystal Palace. So when Espinosa told the gaffer that he wasn't up to Alan Pardew's standard, all hell broke loose.'
