Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher caused controversy last night when he claimed that Theo Walcott wasn't 'good enough' for a team like Arsenal.
'If I were Arsene Wenger, I would be looking to off-load him as soon as possible.'
'It is clear that he is not happy at the Emirates and that he is not living up to the standards of the club. There are also rumours floating around that PSG are willing to pay €35 million for him.'
'If I were Arsene Wenger, I'd take the €35 million and drive him to the airport.'
The former Liverpool defender also went on to say that a team like Arsenal should not be giving into ridiculous contract demands.
'Let him go to PSG. Let him be Unai Emery's problem. There's no way that I'd let him hold the club to ransom.'
The statements from Carragher come on the back of reports that the Arsenal winger had walked out of contract negotiations with the club.
