Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher caused controversy last night when he claimed that Edison Cavani wasn't 'good enough' for a team like PSG.
'If I were Unai Emery, I would be looking to off-load him as soon as possible.'
'It is clear that he is not happy at Parc des Princes and that he is not living up to the standards of the club. There are also rumours floating around that Bayern Munich are willing to pay €34 million for him.'
'If I were Unai Emery, I'd take the €34 million and drive him to the airport.'
The former Liverpool defender also went on to say that a team like PSG should not be giving into ridiculous contract demands.
'Let him go to Bayern Munich. Let him be Carlo Ancelotti's problem. There's no way that I'd let him hold the club to ransom.'
The statements from Carragher come on the back of reports that the former Napoli striker had walked out of contract negotiations with the club.
