Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher caused controversy last night when he claimed that Fredy Guarin wasn't 'good enough' for a team like Inter Milan.
'If I were Roberto Mancini, I would be looking to off-load him as soon as possible.'
'It is clear that he is not happy at the San Siro and that he is not living up to the standards of the club. There are also rumours floating around that Crystal Palace are willing to pay €16 million for him.'
'If I were Roberto Mancini, I'd take the €16 million and drive him to the airport.'
The former Liverpool defender also went on to say that a team like Inter Milan should not be giving into ridiculous contract demands.
'Let him go to Crystal Palace. Let him be Alan Pardew's problem. There's no way that I'd let him hold the club to ransom.'
The statements from Carragher come on the back of reports that the Colombian midfielder had walked out of contract negotiations with the club.
