Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher caused controversy last night when he claimed that Angel Di Maria wasn't 'good enough' for a team like PSG.
'If I were Unai Emery, I would be looking to off-load him as soon as possible.'
'It is clear that he is not happy at Parc des Princes and that he is not living up to the standards of the club. There are also rumours floating around that Dortmund are willing to pay €44 million for him.'
'If I were Unai Emery, I'd take the €44 million and drive him to the airport.'
The former Liverpool defender also went on to say that a team like PSG should not be giving into ridiculous contract demands.
'Let him go to Dortmund. Let him be Thomas Tuchel's problem. There's no way that I'd let him hold the club to ransom.'
The statements from Carragher come on the back of reports that the Argentine midfielder had walked out of contract negotiations with the club.
