Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has told reporters that the club will not be accepting any transfer bids for Joe Allen.
'He is an integral part of the team and we will do everything in our power to keep him', said the Stoke City manager.
The statement was made in response to media reports that Inter Milan are planning to launch a €24 million bid for the Welsh midfielder.
Despite Mark Hughes's claims that Allen is not for sale, one well-placed source at the Britannia Stadium has said that the club is willing to part ways with the Welsh midfielder if an acceptable is received.
'If someone comes in with a bid of around €24 million, then I can see that being accepted.'
