Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has told reporters that the club will not be accepting any transfer bids for Antonio Barragan.
'He is an integral part of the team and we will do everything in our power to keep him', said the Middlesbrough manager.
The statement was made in response to media reports that Crystal Palace are planning to launch a €14 million bid for the Spanish right-back.
Despite Aitor Karanka's claims that Barragan is not for sale, one well-placed source at the Riverside Stadium has said that the club is willing to part ways with the Spanish right-back if an acceptable is received.
'If someone comes in with a bid of around €14 million, then I can see that being accepted.'
